an artistic retreat
plunge pool art collection
the villa was fine, it included a plunge pool and overlooked the lake. The owner collected a lot of art, i was impressed by over ten thousand pieces across the estate. I found the resort peaceful despite its proximity to the airport.
the resort tries too hard to be classy, the decor felt over the top. The staff was friendly, however, their eagerness did not provide necessary assistance. The food quality did not meet my expectations, i did not consider it a five-star experience.

the room was very nice, with a tall chimney like ceiling. I found THE bed to be the most comfortable I have slept in yet in Thailand. All the amenities were satisfactory.

The breakfast buffet had much choice, it had great food at a reasonable price. Lunch was also great with many options. I found everything fresh. I enjoyed that portion sizes are substantial at the restaurants.

staff were helpful, friendly and gave ATTENTION to detail. They accepted late checkouts to coincide with our flight time. I received very good service like cooling towels while waiting and help with luggage.

The room, pool villa, felt luxurious. the chimney-like ceiling added to the spacious feel, it was beautiful! the bed provided perfect comfort. I slept soundly. i loved the quietness of the area.
the restaurant was picturesque though the feeling of being watched by the staff felt uncomfortable!

the staff was very helpful and friendly. the hotel is close to the airport. the swimming pool was lovely. i found the quirky style of the hotel interesting.
the room had too many mosquitoes, made the stay unpleasant.

I found the villa fantastic. It included a separate bathroom and a dedicated sitting area. the breakfast was excellent, complemented by a superb restaurant right in front of the hotel. it was a satisfying experience overall.
The proximity to the airport meant i could hear planes taking off. the noise did not significantly disturb my sleep, but i can imagine it may bother some guests more.
